The Focus

It will take a little more effort,

applied in just the right way,

to move a mountain out of your path,

by walking round its base.

Worry should never dominate,

a mind that’s made to clearly resonate,

the heights and depths of all that is,

discovered in each drop of rain.

Take a breath, deep and long,

prepared to explain your reasoning,

the intelligence of choices blossoming,

into the present arena of awakening.

There is an important focus now,

on the purpose that is chosen,

as the primary movement of that mountain,

embracing the unknown circumstances.

Now known you are resolute,

that every day is absolutely,

full of potential and possibility,

to engage with life in all its variety.

The secret of everything,

reduced to a stanza in a poem,

as complex as things can be,

we have the opportunity to move away,

and become aware of the All,

which is always present, within and without,

it is present within you,

it is present within all of life.
